About Sally Child

I joined Ison Harrison at the beginning of August 2019 as a Paralegal to support the solicitors with the team. I am based in the Barnsley office. It is my hometown and I am very proud of it.

Having worked for legal firms since leaving school at the age of 16, I changed from Industrial Disease work to Clinical Negligence work after unfortunate circumstances led to me pursuing a claim myself.  I was in awe at the vocational nature and dedication of staff working in this area of law and felt that having been a client I could offer a level of empathy and understanding surrounding the emotional issues of bringing a claim in addition to my legal experience to others.

Outside of work I have very little time for much other than ferrying my two boys between football training and matches and spend every Sunday morning freezing on the football side line, cheering and trying to understand the offside rule (not got there yet).
