Ison Harrison opened its York branch in October 2018, and over the last 12 months we have become a vital resource to many people in this popular and historic Yorkshire city. Our sponsorship of York Business Week allows us to get involved with the local business community and support a very popular event.
What’s happening at York Business Week?
For nine years now, York Business Week has been celebrating and supporting local York businesses through a packed programme of conferences, seminars, networking events and flagship awards ceremonies. This year, the event at York Racecourse from 11th – 15th November, promises to be the best one yet, with a host of guest speakers including: Juliette Healey – Agent Yorkshire & The Humber, Bank of England, Henri Murison – Director, Northern Powerhouse Partnership, Nicky Spinks – Endurance Athlete, Bethan Vincent – Innovation & Technology Champion and Sarah Hickingbottom – CEO, BioVale.
Ison Harrison take centre stage on the first day of the event, Monday 11th November, exhibiting at a Business Workshop that will also include a panel discussion and a networking lunch.
Our York office is headed up by Chris Brierley, a leading property solicitor with over 10 years’ experience in this specialist legal sector after having worked in several different areas of the law prior to this. Chris believes that events like York Business Week are important in Ison Harrison becoming established in new locations such as York.
