This year we are going to be attending the Great Yorkshire Show and we are very excited!
Not only is this the first time we have attended the famous agricultural event, but it is also our first event attendance in over 16 months due to the pandemic, so we are delighted to be exhibiting at the show.
The Great Yorkshire Show takes place on 13th – 16th July at the Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate. It is the largest and most popular event held by the showground and every year it attracts around 44,000 visitors a day. This year though, things will be a little different in line with social distancing and safety so visitor numbers will be capped at 25,000 a day. However, the organisers are extending the show to make it a 4 day event rather than a 3 day event for the first time in its history.
What Is There To See At The Great Yorkshire Show?
There’s a whole host of show highlights to enjoy, with everything from equestrian classes to woodcraft demonstrations. There are family-friendly areas plus animal classes including sheep, pigs, goats, cows and hound shows.
New for 2021 will be a woodland trail with demonstrations, plus demonstrations from Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA).

Look Out For Ison Harrison!
We will be exhibiting at stand 208 across the four days, with a rotation of staff from all our branches in attendance.

As one of Yorkshire’s largest law firms, we have different members of staff in attendance at the show each day, all able to offer you expert legal advice should you need it.
- Tuesday 13th July
On the first day of the Great Yorkshire Show, our Ison Harrison representatives will include Dominic MacKenzie (Head of Wills & Probate), Sarah Laughey (Head of Private Family Law) and Nigel Cowley (Wharfedale Hub Branch Manager & Property Law Expert).
- Wednesday 14th July
For the second day of the show, you’ll find other friendly faces at our stand including Natalie Clayton (Conveyancing Executive), Kathryn Gladwell (Conveyancing Executive) and Amy Kwil (Probate Solicitor).
- Thursday 15th July
The third day of the show will see our Managing Partner, Jonathan Wearing in attendance. He will be joined by Georgina Pogge-Von-Strandmann (Property Solicitor), Faye Chadwick (Conveyancing Solicitor) and Erin Johnston (Wills and Probate Solicitor).
- Friday 16th July
On the final day of the show, you’ll find more legal experts including Graham Roberts (Personal Injury Consultant), Richard Coulthard (Head of Corporate), Alice Rusling (Paralegal) and Olivia Williams (Wills and Probate Solicitor).
