As from the beginning of April, many areas of family law including advice on a divorce, finances on separation and contact arrangements for children will only be funded on Legal Aid in very limited circumstances.
Advice in relation to immigration applications such as visas to enter or remain in the UK for family members, students and workers is also being removed from public funding and the circumstances in which it is available in cases of clinical negligence are also going to be few and far between.
